We are happy to announce that we will have both morning and evening classes this semester, and that each subject will meet once each week. You should choose to attend the morning or the evening class for each subject according to your schedule, not both. Also, the morning and evening classes will have different instructors, and will be paced according to the needs of the students in each class, so switching between the two (for the same subject) is not permitted. You may not “make-up” a missed class by attending that subject at a different time.

You may choose to take a mix of morning and evening classes, but you may not attend both the morning and evening sessions of the same subject.

You only need to attend the classes for the subject exams you need to pass. You may also choose to work on some subjects this semester, and wait until another time to do other subjects. It is entirely up to you!

You can add your classes to your Google Classroom by clicking the appropriate links below, or by manually entering the class code for each class that you want to take. If you are using a smartphone or a tablet, we recommend installing and using the Google Classroom app. Click here for additional information on how to add your classes to Google Classroom.

All classes and all orientation sessions meet online using Google Meet. There are no in-person classes or meetings.

You must have a Gmail account to participate in our GED classes and to access the class assignments and materials. If you don’t have one, you can get a free Gmail account by clicking here.

You will use your Gmail account to access Google Meet, which is how you will attend the orientation sessions and all class meetings.

To access your assignments and class materials, you will need a Google Classroom account. Simply click here to go to Google Classroom and log in using your Gmail account information. The links for adding your classes to Google Classroom are be posted in the class schedule section below. Once you have added the classes you want to take, all you need to do is go back to classroom.google.com where you will have access to your assignments and class materials.

If you are having trouble with any of this, don’t panic! We will go over it all at the orientation.

A Note on Transcripts and Testing

We do not administer the test itself. You will need to arrange your own testing, but your teacher will go over that with you at the proper time.

Also, we are not able to access your student records. You will need to contact the last school you attended, or your state department of education, to determine which exams you need to take.

You can take the test whenever you feel you are ready to do so. In the meantime, you should visit www.ged.com for more information. Be sure to check the requirements for your state.
